                                                                                     I.  Overview

‘The Scars’ is a stylized, social behavior based one hour to feature length ( 60 to 90 Minute) documentary film.  The film studies the mindset and behavior of people while they are driving a vehicle on the road.
The impatient nature of people while they are driving is apparent now, and it is not a surprise that our Newspapers and TV news Channels are filled with growing cases of Road Rage in the city of Delhi.
In Delhi when you are driving a car you become your car and you are no longer a human being. You become the SUV, hatchback, or sedan that you drive.  A car displays a social symbol rather than a medium of transport. And than price, power, of your car runs in your nerves instead of blood and rules your mind.
Very few people are aware of the term road rage they think they drive smart but in reality they are almost on a mark where they can take a life. Few cases have been recorded where people have been murdered, just because someone didn’t let them overtake!!!
Road rage is a psychological problem that can be treated with the help of a psychiatrist. This is an illness that can hunt someone you love. We feel pain and anger due to the violent activity of terrorists; we all have come out on streets to protest against criminals who attempt to take away the dignity of a woman.  But when will we take a stand against those who breaks the traffic rules. Someone’s fun on the road can push other families lives in darkness they can suffer a loss which is irrevocable.
The people who mix drinking and drive, speed and adventure, power and disrespectfulness towards life are serious threat for human life. They must be contained and treated seriously to avoid and minimize the human life loss.
‘Scars’ documentary is a mission to exhibit a problem, which is thriving in our minds, and to be worst it is not just among us, it is spreading in our future generations as well. The documentary will raise questions, study behaviors of different class of drivers from car owners to bus drivers, from cab drivers to autorikshaw drivers and shall put audience through a journey where they can feel, realize and awake themselves and start following the terrific rules by heart and not by commandment.

SCARS - A Documentary Film by Abhishak Bhardwaj

A Documentary film by - Abhishak Bhardwaj

Scar is a feature length documentary film that studies the Indian society mindset and their behavior on the road. It shows what we are, and what we become when we are driving the car.
In India when you drive you are no longer a human being. You become the SUV, hatchback or sedan that you drive; a car displays a social symbol rather than a medium of transport. Than price, power, of your car runs in your nerves instead of blood and rules your mind.

The growing road rage cases in the city of Delhi are the biggest example of it. We feel pain and anger when our beloved gets killed due to terrorism. We have come out and protest whenever a criminal attempts to take away the dignity of women but we don’t take a stand against someone who breaks the traffic rules.  Road Rage is physiological problem that can be treated with the help of a psychiatrist. This is an illness that can hunt someone you love.
